The DDU's new app is available for all members to download on their iPhone, iPad, Android phone and Android tablet via the Apple and Google app stores.

The app lets you access expert dento-legal advice 24/7. Once you're logged in with your DDU number, you can customise your news feed to receive content of interest and relevance to you, get assistance by searching frequently asked questions and browse our archive of case studies, guides and articles, including those from the DDU journal.

All of the content is updated regularly and is also available offline - so now it's easy to get expert dento-legal guidance and advice whenever and wherever it's convenient for you.

Having recently surveyed members' technology use, the DDU found that 80 per cent of dental members would use a DDU app. The survey also found that members aged 25-34 years were most likely to use a dental related app for work.

'We are pleased to be able to offer our members guidance, advice and professional development through our new app,' says John Makin, head of the DDU. 'Dentists have ever increasing workloads and consequently, it was imperative that we created an app which was a convenient and practical way for members to access advice and support whilst on-the-go.'
